MARGE SIMPSON’S LESBIAN KISS

Blue-haired Marge Simpson has kissed another female character in an episode of the popular animated television sitcom, The Simpsons.

The Sapphic scene saw Marge kiss female friend Lindsay Neagle, in her living room while husband Homer looked on in apparent delight.

It turns out however that Marge is not abandoning her heterosexual ways; the smooch actually only takes place in Homer’s overactive imagination.

The scene was included in an episode of the award-winning series which was broadcast in the US on Sunday night.

It comes in the wake of a much-hyped scene in an upcoming episode of the series Desperate Housewives in which actresses Teri Hatcher and Eva Longoria reportedly share an on-screen kiss.

The Simpsons, created by Matt Groening, has been running for 20 years and is set to become the longest running television series in America. It has often included gay and lesbian characters.
