A gay adult film actor-turned-producer has been found guilty of murdering a rival producer in the US.

Harlow Cuadra (27) was found guilty in a Pennsylvania court of the first degree murder of Bryan Kocis (44) in January 2007 and eleven other charges.

Cuandra, along with his former lover and business partner Joseph Kerekes (35), stabbed Kocis to death in his home and tried to cover up the crime by setting the man’s house on fire.

Kerekes pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in December. Kocis was stabbed 28 times and his head was almost severed from his body.

The prosecution said that the men killed Kocis so that they could secure an actor, Brent Corrigan, who was under contract to Kocis’s company.

Cuadra, who was at times tearful in court, claimed that he was like a submissive “battered spouse” to Kerekes; who Cuadra claimed was the one who actually committed the actual murder.

Cuadra could face either a life sentence or even the death penalty. Sentencing is expected today.
