Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been voted the Sexiest Man Alive by readers of Britain’s Gay Times magazine.
The hunky sportsman beat Milk actor James Franco and openly gay Aussie Olympic gold medallist Matthew Matcham to the top spot.
F1 driver Lewis Hamilton was voted Sports Personality of the Year while pop star Kylie Minogue was named the top Female Gay Icon in the Gay Times poll.
The title is sure to lift Ronaldo’s spirits, as he was recently seen drowning his sorrows in Sardinia after his team Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat in the Champion’s League final against Barcelona.
Despite looking very sulky, he reportedly seemed to be enjoying his time on the beach.

Yeah right!. Cristiano does have a nice body, if that’s all you’re looking for. But I think James Franco is by far the sexier one: he has the bod and the brains, and has a great sense of humour.
