GORDON RAMSAY’S ‘LESBIAN PIG’ JIBE

Scottish celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has verbally attacked Australian journalist Tracy Grimshaw during a live demonstration cooking show in Melbourne.

He told the audience that Grimshaw, who had interviewed him the day before, was “a lesbian” and “an ugly old pig”.

Holding up a picture of a woman, naked on all fours and doctored with pig features, Ramsay said: “That’s Tracy Grimshaw. I had an interview with her yesterday. Holy crap. She needs to see Simon Cowell’s Botox doctor.”

In response, Grimshaw said that her news show A Current Affair, has always treated Ramsay fairly and generously.

“Truly, I wonder how many people would laugh if they were effectively described as ‘an old ugly pig’. How is that funny exactly? And worse, it’s not even witty,” Grimshaw responded.

“Obviously Gordon thinks that any woman that doesn’t find him attractive must be gay. For the record, I don’t and I am not. But I am not surprised by any of this because we’ve all seen how Gordon Ramsay treats his wife – and he supposedly loves her,” she said.

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has now joined the fray. “All I could describe his remarks as reflecting is a new form of low-life. I just think that’s off and offensive. Good on Grimshaw for coming out and giving him a left upper cut,” he commented.
