TEENS ARRESTED OVER LONDON GAY MURDER
Joel Alexander (19) and two 17 year old girls, who have not been identified because of their age, have been arrested at their homes in connection with the killing of a gay man in London.
It is believed that Ian Baynham (62) was walking with a friend in Trafalgar Square, near the South African High Commission, on 25 September when one of the girls began shouting homophobic slurs at him.
When he confronted the group he was allegedly kicked and beaten by the man and two girls.
Baynham received severe brain damage and was taken off life support last week. The other man suffered minor injuries.
The suspects, who were captured by CCTV cameras around the time of the attack, have been charged with manslaughter and are expected to appear in court later today.
