PASTOR SHOWS GAY PORN AT MEETING
A Ugandan pastor has been ridiculed after he showed gay porn at a meeting held to support the Anti-Homosexuality Bill that is before the country’s parliament.
Pastor Martin Ssempa, who has been lobbying for the law’s passage, hosted the press conference at the National Theatre in Kampala, reports The Daily Monitor in an article titled “Anti-gay meeting flops”.
During his presentation Ssempa showed the explicit images saved on his computer, which resulted in a walkout by most of the audience.
The event had earlier introduced two Ugandans, a man and a woman, who claim to have been “cured” of their homosexuality.
Advocates of the anti-gay law have been bolstering their efforts following reports that President Museveni has called for the proposed legislation to be watered down as it is affecting the country’s international relations.
Uganda is under growing international pressure to withdraw the bill, which would impose the death penalty on those accused of “aggravated” homosexuality.
