AMY WINEHOUSE SAID TO BE BISEXUAL
A British tabloid has claimed that singer Amy Winehouse has had relationships with women and has described herself as bisexual.
According to the News of the World, the 26 year old star gave her approval to a friend to discuss the subject with the newspaper.
“There is something about being with a woman that is very satisfying. I don’t care what people think about me being bi – I do what feels good,” the friend reported Winehouse as saying.
“There is nothing restrained about Amy’s sexuality,” said the friend, adding: “She doesn’t hold back and says what she feels. She often talks about other women. Her favourite is Cheryl [Cole], who she really fancies. Most women can appreciate another woman’s beauty but Amy definitely takes that to the next level.”
Despite winning critical acclaim and selling millions of copies of her 2006 Back to Black album, Winehouse has been afflicted by problems with drug and alcohol abuse, legal disputes and a tumultuous personal life. She divorced her former husband Blake Fielder-Civil in July 2009.
