PRISONER DEMANDS GAY PORN

A British convict claims that he is being discriminated against because prison authorities have confiscated his collection of gay adult magazines.

John O’Reilly said in a letter to Inside Time, a magazine for prison inmates, that while bosses at the Dovegate prison – located in Staffordshire, England – took away his magazines, other inmates are allowed to keep their heterosexual porn stashes.

He also wrote that the prison’s director had told him that he would not tolerate gay magazines in his prison.

“How can he impose Christian views on a whole prison? How can I overturn this homophobic stance? There are a lot of gays in here who are furious and feel victimised,” O’Reilly said.

A spokesman for the prison told the Burton Mail: “HMP Dovegate treats all prisoners equally and does not tolerate discrimination of any sort. We do not give prisoners access to any form of hardcore pornography.”
