A contestant in the British Big Brother house has claimed that he lied about his sexuality, apparently in order to be selected by producers for the reality show.
Govan Zachariah Hinds told producers that he was bisexual but he admitted on the show this week that he had been dishonest.
“When I came in here. I said to them I was bi and …it’s not true,” said Hinds in a conversion with housemate Josie Gibson.
“I could never [have intercourse] with a boy,” the 21 year old unemployed voluntary worker from Leicester added.
He told Gibson that he was afraid to be harassed when he returned home. “Just say that you said it to get in the Big Brother house,” she suggested in response.
According to his profile on the official Big Brother site, Govan has “slept with 10 girls and 0.5 boys and claims to be very sexually curious when it comes to boys”.
