NEIL PATRICK HARRIS EXPECTING TWINS

Openly-gay How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris (37) has announced that he and his partner will be raising twins.

Harris, and long-time partner, David Burtka (35), will be receiving their bundles of joy in October, courtesy of a surrogate mother.

“So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We’re super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy…” said Harris on Twitter.

Singer Ricky Martin, who is himself raising twin boys, was among the first to congratulate the couple on Twitter. “Congratz!!! rest a lot sleep, cause you won’t ever again… hehe blessings to you and your family.”

Harris and Burtka have been together since 2004.
