HILLARY CLINTON DOES NOT SUPPORT GAY MARRIAGE

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has revealed that she does not agree with her husband in his support of same-sex marriage.

Clinton is a vocal supporter of LGBT rights around the world, including same-sex civil partnerships, but does not believe that this should extend to full marriage equality.

Former President Bill Clinton revealed in 2009 that he had changed his mind about same-sex marriage and is now in support of it.

“Well, I share his experience because we obviously share a lot of the same friends,” Hillary Clinton told The Advocate magazine in a new interview, “but I have not changed my position [on gay marriage]” she added.

With the motto of “Gay rights are human rights” Clinton has been credited with making LGBT equality a prominent aspect of America’s international policy.
