George Michael’s representative has denied claims that his has been using the gay GPS-based iPhone app ‘Scruff’ to meet other men while in Australia.
According to the Mail Online, Michael appears to have a profile on the service which targets “bears, furred, inked, uniformed, jocks, geeks and more.”
The profile ‘Sydney rocks’ appears to include images of Michael, including one in front of the Sydney Opera House, but it is unclear whether the profile was actually created by the star.
“We hear about stories like this all the time and they always turn out to be pranks,” commented a spokesperson for Michael.
The singer, who has sold over 100 million records, has been living in Sydney for the last month and is reported to have bought a $5 million five-bedroom home overlooking the beach.
It is unclear if his long time partner Kenny Goss is in Australia with him.
