IS GLEE’S BLAINE BI?

There’s been speculation that the gay character of Blaine Anderson in the hit show Glee may have a fling with a female character.

In an interview with Out magazine, Glee creator Ryan Murphy said: “Blaine will openly question whether bisexuality is real. I think that some people will love that discussion and some will not love it.”

In the issue, which also features the hunky Darren Criss who plays Blaine, Murphy was coy about when the anticipated relationship between Blaine and the character of Kurt Hummel would come to fruition.

“When that moment comes — if it comes, I want to treat that relationship like we treat all the other relationships on the show. I want it to be as flawed and as exposed as everyone else’s.”

Later, Murphy issued a statement to Perez Hilton clarifying his position on Blaine’s sexuality.

“Blaine is NOT bi. He is gay, and will always be gay. I think it’s very important to young kids that they know this character is one of them,” he said.
