SCHOOLBOY COMMITTED SUICIDE OVER GAY RUMOURS
An inquest has heard that a 15 year old British schoolboy committed suicide after he became the subject of rumours that he was gay.
Dominic Crouch jumped to his death from the roof of a six story block of flats in Gloucestershire last May.
According to reports, he was deeply affected by the rumours which began after he returned from a school trip during which he kissed a boy while playing spin the bottle.
“Dominic was clearly upset about rumours that he believed were being spread about him. We need to realise that what may be a laugh to some young people are deeply upsetting to another,” the boy’s father, Roger, told Metro after the inquest.
Police found notes in Dominic’s pocket apologising to his parents.
The inquest ruled that Crouch’s death was indeed suicide.
oversensitive. For those who say that the gay community is oversensitive , should realise that words have once again caused yet another death. This is tragic in this day and age.
This should remind us not to accept verbal abuse, espcially under the guise of “humour”
