30 ROCK STAR IN ON-STAGE HOMOPHOBIC RANT

30 Rock star and stand up comedian Tracy Morgan has been slammed following an apparent homophobic rant during a performance last week.

In a Nashville show, he was quoted by audience members as saying that “gays need to quit being pussies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying”.

He also apparently said that being “gay is something that kids learn from the media and programming” and that if his son talks to him “in a gay voice… I’ll pull out a knife and stab that little n-gger to death.”

Morgan allegedly added that he didn’t care if he offended gay people “because if they can take a fucking dick up their ass… they can take a fucking joke.”

Audience member Kevin Rogers commented that “the sad thing is that none of this rant was a joke. His entire demeanour changed during that portion of the night. He was truly filled with some hate towards us”.

He added: “For one minority to attack another minority in such a way, without provocation, is appalling and in no way humorous.”

LGBT rights group Truth Wins Out said that it was “alarmed” at the allegations that Morgan “departed from his usual stand-up routine to unleash an anti-gay tirade”.

When asked for a comment by Instinct magazine, Morgan’s publicist replied: “There is no comment. Thank you.”
