The controversial author of A Million Little Pieces has opened up about his new contentious fiction book that features a bisexual Jesus Christ-like Messiah .
James Frey’s 2003 drug abuse confessional became a best-seller but was later tainted by scandal after he admitted he had made up portions of the book.
He newest offering, The Final Testament of the Holy Bible, is sure to generate as much controversy thanks to the depiction of a bisexual Messiah who returns to earth in modern-day New York.
Frey, who is not gay, revealed that the ‘gayest’ thing he’d ever done was kissing another man when he was 22 in a Paris bar. “We kissed for about a minute. I wasn’t into it,” he said.
