Over 4,000 gay men in the UK have voted Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard as the hottest footballer in the Premier League.
The 31-year-old, considered one of the greatest English footballers ever, is married to fashion journalist Alex Curran and has two children.
Gerrard, who also won the ‘Best Legs’ title in the Gaydar survey, came ahead of former teammate Fernando Torres in second place, Chelsea’s Frank Lampard in third place and Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas in fourth.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Peter Crouch came last with just two percent of the vote and Wayne Rooney had the dubious honour of being voted as having the ‘Worst Haircut’.
The poll also revealed that two thirds of the respondents did not attend football match, with 12 percent feeling that they would not be safe in attending due to homophobia.
There are currently no openly gay players in the Premier League.
