CHRISTIAN GROUP PRAYS FOR GEORGE MICHAEL’S DEATH
An American Christian group has urged its members to pray for ailing singer George Michael’s death.
On Saturday, Christians For A Moral America (CFMA) tweeted: “Pray for George Michael’s demise. He has chosen a satanic lifestyle and must meet an appropriate end.”
The 48-year-old star is being treated in intensive care at Vienna’s AKH General Hospital for severe pneumonia.
Earlier, the group tweeted: “Once George Michael bites the dust, it’ll be the perfect time to roll out new anti-sodomy ads. This lifestyle is clearly dangerous.”
Defending its comments, CFMA went on to say: “Lol wow you sodomites will do and say anything to justify your satanic bedroom practices. Face it, it’s filthy and abnormal.”
Although the group is a relatively obscure one, its tweets have led to widespread outrage on the internet.
Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has insisted that his partner’s condition is improving, but it’s been reported that the performer’s father, two sisters and former partner of 13 years, Kenny Goss, have flown to Austria to be at his bedside.
These fundamentalists think they have the right to judge other people and even to tell God who should get to live or die. In biblical times they would have certainly stoned the adulteress to death. I just thank my lucky stars I am not that God didn’t make e a christian. Hipocrites!
