GEORGE MICHAEL RETURNS TO MAKING MUSIC
Following a life-threatening struggle with pneumonia, pop star George Michael is making new music and preparing to resume his tour.
Michael (48) was hospitalised in Vienna in November last year with severe pneumonia after his condition deteriorated just hours before he was set to perform in the city.
He cancelled concerts in his ‘Symphonica’ tour and spent weeks in intensive care amid speculation about his condition before finally being discharged and returning to the U.K.
On Thursday, he tweeted that he was writing new songs about his recent experiences.
“Don’t think I don’t realise how many of you out there prayed for my recovery. I thank you all from the deepest part of my soul. And I will repay your unending kindness the only way I know how. With music.
“Yesterday I began to write a song called ‘White Light.’ It’s for all of you, for everyone who prayed for me, for every one of you who has prayed for me, for every person who has stopped me in the streets to ask me how I’m doing, you have made me feel so blessed. And I promise you it’s a blinder.”
The singer plans to resume his tour in September.
Im glad ur doing great George. Just a small favour on ur part. Can u stop whorring around and making us look bad. Or @ the very least no more cruising in parks n giving senior Citizens hand jobs
