BEN COHEN STRIPS FOR GAY BULLYING CHARITY
Hunky former English rugby star Ben Cohen has released the sexy cover and a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot for his latest charity calendar.
The 33-year-old ‘bear’ announced in May last year that he was retiring from sport to focus on campaigning against bullying and homophobia.
His Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation, supports organisations, programs and people that advance equality for the LGBT community and help for at-risk youth by standing up against bullying.
The sales of his latest 2013 calendar, in which he models his underwear range, will go towards the foundation.
Money is also raised for the cause through sales of the underwear and other merchandise on the foundation’s website.
“I am passionate about standing up against bullying and homophobia in sports, and feel compelled to take action,” says Cohen on the site.
“It is time we stand up for what is right and support people who are being harmed. Every person on this planet has a right to be true to themselves, to love and be loved, and to be happy.”
Cohen, who developed a strong gay following over the years thanks to his good looks and gay-friendly stance, is married to Abby Cohen. They have twin daughters, Harriette and Isabelle and live in rural Northamptonshire.
