The younger gay brother of hunky actor Chris Evans has been arrested after trying to buy drugs in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
According to TMZ, Scott Evans (29), who previously starred in One Life to Live, made the unfortunate mistake of trying to score the narcotics from an undercover police officer.
It is not known what drugs Evans was hoping to buy. He was reportedly released on bail at around midnight.
On Wednesday morning the young actor commented on Facebook: “Most ridiculous night of my life in LA so far. At least I made it a year before getting arrested.”
Ironically, in One Life to Live Evans played the character of police officer Oliver Fish, who was in a gay relationship in the daytime show.
Evans was dropped from the soap in 2010 after the gay storyline was ended for apparently failing to find favour with viewers.
His older brother Chris, who recently starred as Captain America in The Avengers, has supported his sibling as an openly gay man and publicly backed same-sex marriage rights.
