NEW GAY BUSINESS DIRECTORY LAUNCHED

A new online gay business directory has been launched with the aim of listing gay owned and run businesses and services in South Africa.

With the slogan “Keep it in the family,” Gaybiz.co.za owner Donovan Steyl said that the site aims to become South Africa’s leading ‘pink’ business directory.

“There are a few directory sites out there,” explained Steyl, “but they are either provincially localised, out of date, lacking in content or have not been optimised for the benefit of paying advertisers”.

Steyl says he’s partnered with search engine (SEO) optimisation expert guru Greg Meyer to ensure Gaybiz has a high search engine ranking and will draw a large audience.

The site will also have a sales team behind it to ensure that users are going to find what they are looking for.

“It’s a vicious circle ﾖ you need the traffic to draw businesses and you need the businesses to draw the traffic,” commented Meyer.

There are four package options ranging from a free listing to the premium gold package. The site has a clean look and feel, is user friendly and registering allows you to manage your listing and favourite businesses.
