The winner will score R50,000 in cash and will represent South Africa at the Mr Gay World contest in Rome next year. Tom by far… From a look of perspective… It’s sad to see that this is our gay top 10 against straight muscular top 10. Lance was the only muscular man we ever had winning MGSA. Tom looks very good for his age.

I dont think the stereotype of alpha men should be a criteria for a finalist, genetics play a role. if you look at the Top10 they are diverse. what you cant see from the photo is their ability to lead, to represent and fight for LGBTI rights. As much as it is a beauty pageant compition, let us not lose focus of the goal that we as a community would like to see from these contestants. Good luck to you guys. make us proud
