WATCH: SHIRTLESS ZAC EFRON WOWS AT MTV MOVIE AWARDS
The highlight of Sunday’s 22nd Annual MTV Movie awards was undoubtedly Hollywood stud Zac Efron stripping his shirt off for the audience.
The 26-year-old actor stepped onto the stage after he was named the winner in the Best Shirtless Performances category for his role in the comedy That Awkward Moment.
As he was accepting the award, British singer and actress Rita Ora stepped behind him and ripped off his shirt, revealing his ever-impressive ripped body.
The buff star, somehow looking both cocky and bashful, then posed for the ecstatic audience.
It wasn’t entirely a surprise though. Efron had earlier promised on Twitter: “If I beat Thor- I’m accepting the award shirtless on stage.”
After the show, he tweeted: “@RitaOra Thanks for such a bold move. I don’t know if I could’ve done that on my own.”
Efron’s shirtless performance beat out Jennifer Aniston (We’re the Millers); Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire); Leonardo DiCaprio, (The Wolf of Wall Street); and Chris Hemsworth (Thor: The Dark World).
Efron, who’s been plagued by substance abuse problems, will again flex his shirtless muscles on-screen in his new movie Neighbours.
