Cape Town’s Mother City Queer Project (MCQP) announced the theme, date and venue for its 2014 edition at Crew Bar in De Waterkant, with special appearances by Lola Fine and Genevieve Le Coq. (Some guests could have sworn that they even saw event director Ian McMahon disguised as the Queen Mother.) The “Royal Navy” themed costume party takes place on Saturday 20 December at the Cape Town City Hall and adjacent Grand Parade.
