Here’s the trailer for Looking season 2
The trailer for the second season of Looking, the popular American gay mini-series, has been released.
The original eight-part, 30-minute comedy-drama about three gay friends and their lives in San Francisco, was screened by DSTV in South Africa this past May and June.
It was both loved and hated when it was broadcast on HBO in America earlier this year. While the cast members were generally praised for their performances the show was also called out for its slow pace. Despite this, the series’ viewership grew over time and Looking was renewed for a second season.
The new 10-part season, starring Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett, continues where the previous series left off, with most of the same cast returning – plus some new faces.
Looking season 2 premières in the US on 11 January next year. There’s no word yet when it’ll be shown in South Africa.
