Has Sam Smith finally found love?

Sam Smith, who found fame and success with songs about loneliness and unrequited love, has introduced the world to his new boyfriend.

The 22-year-old British singer has been posting fun holiday snaps on Instagram, making it clear to all that he and boyfriend Jonathan Zeizel are very much an item.

The photos show the couple vacationing in Sydney in various poses, including humorously recreating the famous Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio Titanic scene.

Smith told the Sun last month that he met his beau while filming the video for the song Like I Can. Zeizel was one of 20 extras cast for the video.

According to Out magazine, Zeizel is a 23-year-old model who lives in New York, and sometimes goes by the name “Jongo”.

In May last year, Smith came out as gay and revealed that his acclaimed hit début album In the Lonely Hour, was written about a man he fell in love with who didn’t feel the same about him.

“I feel almost like I signed off this part of my life where I keep giving myself to guys who are never going to love me back….It’s all there now, and I can move on and hopefully find a guy who can love me the way I love him,” the star said at the time.

It looks like his wish may have come true!

Smith has been nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
