Miss Gay Jozi, Gauteng’s most lavish drag pageant, recently crowned its 2015 queen at the Wits Theatre in Johannesburg.
Twenty-seven-year-old model Ycer Machimana from Midrand took home the title at the glam event, which has become a highlight of the LGBT calendar.
Photographer David Penney was there to capture the guests at the pageant as well as those who attended the big afterparty bash at club Simply Blue.
