Johannesburg nightclub and LGBT institution Simply Blue, known as the city’s home to drag, recently hosted its annual Miss Black Pride pageant on Friday 2 October.
Alexis Leeroy Blackpearl Kubeka from Sebokeng, near Vanderbijlpark, was crowned the 2015 title holder, while Elektra Von Teez from Joburg was the runner-up. The second princess was Grucian Meyers from Eesterus, Pretoria.
