The 14th edition of the Pretoria Pride parade, held under the theme “Uniting the Rainbow,” brought vibrant colour and celebration to the streets of Centurion on Saturday, 4 October 2025.
Kicking off at the Centurion Rugby Club at noon, the event was a joyful celebration of LGBTIQ+ identity, visibility, and expression.
Led by a horse-drawn chariot, the marchers and floats drew cheers from onlookers, with motorists hooting their horns in support.
While Pretoria Pride may not have the overtly activist focus of events like Soweto Pride, it was nevertheless a powerful and visible statement of queer pride and solidarity.
