Being cheated on by girlfriend Kristen Stewart doesn’t seem to have diminished Robert Pattinson’s sex appeal, according to a new poll.
The 26-year-old Twilight star has been voted the most desirable man by over 40,000 people in Glamour magazine’s 50 Sexiest Men of 2012.
Pattinson and Stewart are set to be back in the full glare of the media spotlight thanks to the upcoming release of the final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn 2.
In the poll, Pattinson beat out other celebrity hunks such as runner-up Tom Hiddleston, best known for his villainous role in The Avengers, and Pirates of the Caribbean’s Johnny Depp, in third place.
The top five was rounded off by X-Men: First Class star Michael Fassbender in fourth place and BBC’s Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch in fifth place.
The top ten also included Robert Downey Jr, Taylor Lautner, Paul Wesley, James McAvoy and Henry Cavill.
According to the gossip mill, Pattinson has forgiven Stewart, his co-star and real-life partner, for her infidelity with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, and the two are back together.
