Pop legend Cher has debuted her new power single, A Woman’s World, that’s sure to be a massive hit on dance floors around the world.
The 66-year-old singer, actress and gay icon confirmed in August that she was back in the studio working on a new album, her first since 2001’s Living Proof.
The new song, co-written by Anthony Crawford and Paul Oakenfold, is an upbeat ode to women’s empowerment.
“When I started singing it I thought about strong Famous Women….Then I Thought “fk That” “THIS IS A WOMAN’S WORLD” We’re All Strong ! MEN 2 !” Cher tweeted about the single.
She earlier, also on Twitter, described the upcoming album as “Eclectic! Lots of dance, but none (are the) same kind of dance! Have big ass choruses, some heart rippers!”
Cher has said that she collaborated with producer and hitmaker Timbaland on at least some of the tracks and recorded two songs co-written by Pink.
