Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007
Jozi is in a celeb-tizz following reports that gay-supporting Hollywood A-listers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be living in the city for eight months.
According to Beeld, the couple – and presumably their six children – are set to rent an R85,000 a month Sandhurst mansion while they shoot a film in South Africa.
Little is known about the movie, other than it’s apparently being directed by family friend George Clooney.
We can’t wait to see Angelina and her brood shopping up a storm at Sandton City, Brad tasting local craft beers in Parkhurst and the whole family taking a tour of Soweto.
The couple have been long-time supporters of the LGBT community, even going so far as to say that they wouldn’t get married until gays and lesbians also had the right to do so in America.
In 2008 and 2012 Brad donated a total of $200,000 to support efforts to legalise same-sex marriage in the US.
