Gay icon Kylie Minogue appears to be targeting a new demographic with her latest music video – straight men.
The pop’s star’s clip for her new single Sexercize, from the just-released album Kiss Me Once, is probably her sexiest video yet.
It shows the 45-year-old singer’s stunning body in full flight as never before; sweating up a storm in a series of sexy “exercise” routines with a group of other sultry women.
A couple of erotic lesbian shots may get her into trouble with feminists who’ve railed against female pop stars, like Rihanna and Shakira’s recent collaboration, who’ve recently used faux lesbian imagery to appeal to straight men.
It’s all beautifully shot and directed by Will Davidson, but call us old fashioned; we prefer Kylie surrounded by gorgeous hunks.
And, while we can’t wait for the new album, the song still needs to grow on us.
