Advertorial

prince_george_first_playdate_with_gay_familyPrince George, the possible future King of England, has enjoyed a play date with a gay couple’s little girl.

The eight-month-old son of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, took part in baby playgroup during the young royal family’s official visit to New Zealand.

It was George’s first official public engagement.

The “bubbly” boy crawled about and interacted with the other children at the gathering in Wellington as his mom and dad chatted to other parents.

Among the families who took part were gay parents Jared Mullen and Ryan Tunstall and their adopted daughter Isabella.

“Isabella and George had a little play together, they were chums,” Mullen told Wales Online.

He said that the “The Duke and Duchess were lovely, they were both very relaxed and we chatted about our experiences as first-time parents.”

Mullen described George as “a lovely little boy, very intrepid,” adding that, “It was lovely to meet the Duke and Duchess and share our beautiful children with them. They are both very lovely and loving parents.”

Mullen, Tunstall and Isabella were specifically chosen to represent the growing number of gay families.
