AMAZING! BIRTH OF GAY FATHERS’ SON GOES VIRAL
Moving and intimate photos of two emotional gay fathers welcoming their newly born son into the world have gone viral.
Captured by Canadian photographer Lindsay Foster, the images show BJ Barone and Frankie Nelson holding baby Milo after a surrogate mother gave birth to him on June 27.
“They are two compassionate people who felt all the emotions that every new parent feels. They asked all appropriate questions of the birthing mom and the midwife and educated themselves as best as they could for their son’s arrival. I am so proud of these two dads,” said Foster.
The two dads were shirtless for the birthing experience so as to establish a skin-to-skin bond with the baby.
Foster posted the images onto her Facebook page and they have since been liked and shared by thousands of people.
In response to the overwhelming global reaction to their special moment, BJ and Frankie posted a statement on Foster’s page.
“This is a moment of pure love and acceptance. Milo is surrounded by unconditional love and he will grow up knowing many different types of families and accept everyone, (intolerant people included). Milo was born during World Pride,” the proud parents said.
“This picture represents everything Pride is about. Love has no colour nor gender nor sexual preference. Love is unconditional. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! xxoo”
