Shew! Meet Ian Thorpe’s hot new model boyfriend

Australian Olympic swimming legend Ian Thorpe is dating quite the specimen: a model, law student and lifesaver.

According to the rumour mill, and as evidenced by recent pictures of the two men smooching and hanging out, Thorpe, 33, is romancing 26-year-old Ryan Channing.

Ryan is not only studying law but he also spends his time flaunting his sizzingly body on the beach and making pocket money by modelling swimwear and underwear.

The Curtin University student hails from Perth in Western Australia and already has a commerce degree in marketing.

A source told The Courier Mail: “While it is early days in relationship terms, they are smitten with one another.”

Thorpe, who retired in 2006, won five Olympic gold medals, the most won by any Australian, and broke 22 world records. He came out as gay in July 2014, after years of denying his sexuality.

At one point it was rumoured that he was dating singer Ricky Martin but that appeared to go nowhere.
