Johannesburg Pride 2016 – Gallery 1

Johannesburg Pride 2016 took over the Melrose Arch precinct on Saturday, with thousands of diverse LGBT South Africans from all backgrounds celebrating their freedoms and sexual and gender identities.

While the 27th annual edition of Africa’s oldest Pride had a limited focus on the more serious issues facing the LGBT community, the event was a huge hit with revellers as a sorely lacking safe space to socialise, meet and party.
