NEW SUPPORT GROUPS IN CAPE TOWN

Advertorial

Cape Town’s Triangle Project has launched two new support groups: one for HIV-positive gay men and another for gay parents

Group for HIV-positive gay men

This is a discussion and support group for gay men living with HIV. Facilitated by a clinical psychologist, the group will provide a forum for discussion of diverse aspects of day-to-day living with HIV, including sexuality, dating, health issues, stress, dealing with stigma and the difficulties of disclosure.

The group will meet at 10h30 on Saturdays, commencing 7 July. Sensitivity to members’ privacy will be respected at all times. This is a free service. For more info on the group please call Glenn or Heather on 021 448 3812 or email glenn@triangle.org.za.

Gay Parents Social Group

In an effort to assist gay parents, Triangle Project introduces a new social group for same-sex parents. Starting Wednesday, July 18, the group will meet on the third Wednesday of every month. Parents are welcome to bring their kids along and Triangle Project can make arrangements for a qualified baby sitter. This is offered free of charge, but free-will donations would be welcome.

For any more information on this group, please contact Heather at 021-448-3812 or info@triangle.org.za.
