While Lost star Josh Holloway looks like he could lose a couple of kilos around his waist, that doesn’t mean that he’s still not a hot slab of man-meat. Ricky Martin flaunts his kids

Latin superstar Ricky Martin, who still refuses to come out the closet, surprised us all when he announced in August that he had fathered two kids via a surrogate mother. The crooner has now finally unveiled his made-to-order children to the world. Ricky posed with the two boys, Valentino and Matteo, for the latest edition of Spain’s Hola magazine. He is also set to appear in People with his offspring. In an interview with the magazine, Ricky says that he chose to go the surrogacy route because it “was an intriguing and faster option” than adoption. He goes on to gush that “I’m so happy! Everything they do, from smiling to crying, feels like a blessing. Being a father feels amazing. This has been the most spiritual moment in my life.” The doting father says that despite being able to afford an army of nannies he is “the one who changes the diapers, the one that feeds them, the one that bathes them, the one that puts them to sleep…” Lucky kids!

Michael Jackson’s expensive garage sale

We’ve lost count of how many times Michael Jackson has been reported to be on the verge of bankruptcy. Yet, somehow, he seems to always pull through. The latest rumours claim that the Thriller icon is so cash-strapped that has been forced to auction many of his belongings. According to Julien’s Auctions, Michael will be flogging around 2,000 personal possessions and mementoes from his career in a five day auction in April next year. You will apparently be able to pick up his iconic Billie Jean glitter glove and the gates to his infamous Neverland Ranch, which was recently sold (clearly minus the gates). This could be the granddaddy of all garage sales…

Oprah Winfrey admits she’s fat

Oprah Winfrey has finally addressed the very large elephant in the room and admitted that she is once again fat – despite regularly punting the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise during her slimmer days. This revelation is no surprise to her fans that have watched her balloon to an impressive 90 kilograms. The talk show queen appears on the cover of the latest issue of her self-titled magazine with ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures to emphasise to what degree she has fallen off the wagon. “I’m mad at myself. I’m embarrassed. I can’t believe that after all these years, all the things I know how to do, I’m still talking about my weight. I look at my thinner self and think, ‘How did I let this happen again?'” she writes in the magazine. She adds that in April, while taping a show featuring Tina Turner and Cher as guests, she felt like a “fat cow.” Agg, shame… We love you Oprah, no matter how much you love the cake!

T.R Knight may leave Grey’s Anatomy

Everyone’ favourite gay munchkin, T.R. Knight, has reportedly asked to be released from his Grey’s Anatomy contract. The actor, who plays Dr. George O’Malley on the hit television show, is said to be unhappy at work. Reasons include resentment about the way the show’s producer Shonda Rhimes handled the infamous “faggot” incident on set with then co-star Isaiah Washington, which led to T.R coming out. He apparently remains miffed that it took her so long to condemn Washington’s actions. If this story is true, we hope he’s got something else lined up… there’s nothing sadder than a 35 year old out-of-work-actor with a 19 year old boyfriend.

Will Young’s coming out led to smoking

Singer Will Young has told The Guardian newspaper that he first started smoking when he came out the closet. “I got all the way through my teens and then I started smoking when I was 20 because of stress,” he says in a new interview. “It was all about coming out and the night it happened the garage at university was open at two in the morning so I bought a pack and smoked the lot.” Who knew that coming out could be bad for your health!

One of our favourite TV shows here at Mamba Mansions is Discovery’s Ultimate Survival in which the delicious Bear Grylls battles the elements around the world to always come out victorious no matter the hardships he faces. We’re not only captivated by the challenges he overcomes on a weekly basis but also the ruggedly sexy Bear himself, who is occasionally forced to strip naked on camera. We’ve also had the joy of seeing him dine on raw meat from a dead zebra, eat maggots of a dead deer, and drink his own urine (especially exciting for watersports enthusiasts.) So we were mortified to hear that he was recently hurt while in Antarctica when injured his shoulder in a fall. He then had to wait an agonising 36 hours until he could be airlifted to South Africa for treatment before being returned to the UK and his very lucky wife who will no doubt enjoy ‘playing nurse’.

Clay Aiken gets himself a boyfriend

Another openly gay former Idols contestant is also in the news. The annoying Clay Aiken, who only just came out despite everyone else already knowing he was gay, has finally found himself a man – no doubt to compliment the baby in his life: just like Ricky Martin, Clay recently fathered a child with a surrogate mother. The lucky fella is hot Broadway dancer Reed Kelly, reports Star. The two apparently met when Clay was in the midst of his stint in the Broadway show Spamalot and Reed was dancing in Wicked. The lovebirds were first spotted out together as a couple at Rosie O’Donnell’s Building Dreams for Kids charity gala last month.
