RENT BOY JUDGE RESIGNS

A married senior judge in Wales has resigned following revelations last year that he had an affair with a male sex worker.

Judge Gerald Price was suspended following an investigation into his nine-month-long relationship with 25 year old escort Christopher Williams.

Williams claimed that Price had passed him off as a law student in court and had taken him on official business trips during which they would stay in hotel rooms together.

The Office for Judicial Complaints announced this week that Price had resigned before he could be fired. He was found guilty of bringing the “judiciary into disrepute” and was advised that “his behaviour merited removal from office”.

“Whilst the media reported a number of allegations against Judge Price, the judicial investigation only focused on those that had an impact on his role as a judge,” said a spokesperson.
