jennifer_hudson_gay_marriage_videoJennifer Hudson’s new music video is both an upbeat dance floor filler and a show of support for same-sex marriage.

I Still Love You depicts a gay son reaching out to his estranged father, asking him to attend his wedding.

As he and his partner prepare for their big day and guests gather, the dad must decide if he’ll take part in his son’s marriage celebration.

The video, directed by Tabitha Denholm and Molly Schiot, was launched along with the Human Rights Campaign in support of W Hotels Worldwide’s LGBT equality initiative, Turn It Up For Change.

“I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song. It’s about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love,” Jennifer told MTV.

“So I thought it would be powerful to take a concept like trying to find your equality in love no matter who you love,” the Oscar and Grammy winner said.

“I hope people walk away with a broader perspective of marriage equality,” Jennifer added. “And everyone being able to choose who they want to love and just accept each other as their own and just give love and receive love, just love and be happy people.”
