ADAM LEVINE THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE

Adam Levine, the lead vocalist of pop band Maroon 5, has been named 2013’s sexiest man alive by PEOPLE magazine.

“As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table,” the singer told the magazine. “I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.”

The 34-year-old American is also a coach in the hit TV music competition series The Voice and recently branched out into acting.

Levine, whose younger brother Michael is gay, is a vocal supporter of gay and lesbian equality.

In 2011 he told OUT magazine” “I can single-handedly dispel any ideas that sexuality is acquired. Trust me, you’re born with it. My brother is gay, and we knew when he was two. We all knew.”

He’s also expressed his support for same-sex marriage rights telling MTV that if he became president, the first thing he’d do was legalise gay marriage.

In an interview with Pridesource, he said: “It’s just so silly and it doesn’t make any sense to me that you wouldn’t be able to marry whomever you want to marry.

“It’s not our business. I don’t know why we’re obsessed with making everything in this country our business, all the time.”

Levine, who attributes his lean and mean body to yoga and spinning, has previously said that he loves “being as naked as possible all the time — it feels really natural to me”.

He is engaged to marry Namibian/South African Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo.
