Porn star DJ to headline Fireman’s Ball 2014

The Fireman’s Ball has come a long way since its humble beginnings back in 2007 and is now the biggest proudly gay party in Jozi. And on Friday, 28 November, it promises to be bigger than ever.

The event has seen some top local and international acts taking the stage. This year, international gay porn star and DJ, Pierre Fitch, will be hitting the decks.

The 2014 edition will also see a new venue. The Fireman’s Ball will be hosted at one of Sandton’s trendiest clubs, The Sands, which will be enlarged to ensure the party is as epic as ever.

The venue will boast two dance floors and organisers promise a fantastic sound and lighting display and five-star service.

Fitch has been making a splash in the international gay space for over 15 years – both for his adult film work and as a DJ.

The Canadian hottie has always been a fan of music and decided to pursue his dance music hobby professionally. Over the past two years, he’s gone through extensive training with experts, learning all technical aspects of becoming a DJ. Fitch says he’ll be bringing some of the best music, production and sound to his performance.

“I can’t wait to come and experience all that South Africa has to offer,” Fitch said. “The Fireman’s Ball seems like a load of fun and I’m so excited to be a part of this year’s event. I am looking forward to meeting my South African fans as well!”

Fitch will be joined by some of the hottest local DJs. The line-up includes Anele (947), Catherine Grenfell (5FM), Alex Caige (947), Mika Stefano, Vic Naidoo (5FM), Stuart Hillary (Therapy), DJ Sam, Dizzy and the winner of the Fireman’s Ball GAY DJ Search competition.

As always, the Fireman’s Ball promises to deliver a great VIP experience. For R220, each VIP party-goer will get access to the VIP balcony overlooking the main dance floor, a “Fire Starter” welcome drink, canapés and exclusive service from a selection of sexy waiters.
