THE FEATHER AWARDS ARE BACK

The Feather Awards are returning for their 6th year, with the finalists for the 2014 edition being recently announced.

The event was founded in 2008 as a tongue-in-cheek, light-hearted celebration of high-profile individuals who, the organisers say, have inspired, scandalised and amused South Africa’s LGBTI community over the past year.

As always, some of the finalists this year are fabulously controversial, including the entire fired Generations cast and the show’s creator Mfundi Vundla competing for the Drama Queen of the Year title.

The Feather Awards will take place in Johannesburg on 12 November. The 2014 finalists are:
