The winter edition of Mams Pride was recently hosted at Thibo Café in Mamelodi, under the theme of “#wefuckenmatter”. Not only did the event feature a hot line-up of DJs and a live performance but also offered mobile HIV testing and counselling.
Mams Pride aims to create a safe social space for LGBTI people and their supporters, build awareness around hate crimes and mobilise LGBTI people to access HIV testing services.
