Limpopo Pride 2015 a two day event

Advertorial

limpopo_pride_2015_a_two_day_eventThe fourth annual Limpopo Pride is set to be a two day event, taking place in Polokwane on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June.

Organisers earlier this month postponed the original May 9 event to ensure the safety of participants and to rally more support from civil society and government.

The two day event will feature a march through Polokwane on Friday 5 June. The theme is “speak out against LGBTI abuse”.

The march will start at SABC Park at 10am and return back to the park at around 12.30pm.

This will be followed by a formal program, lunch and entertainment. Stalls will offer HIV, STI and TB screening and counselling.

The second day (Saturday 6 June) will take place at Flora Park Dam from 10am and will include stalls, a picnic and entertainment, such as the “Battle of the DJs”.
