Norwegian_singer_comes_out_gay_sex_in_church_videoNorwegian singer Tooji has come out as gay in possibly the most controversial way; by combining religious imagery with steamy gay sex.

Tooji (real name Touraj Keshtkar) is best known internationally for representing Norway in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.

On Sunday, the 28-year-old Norwegian-Iranian singer, painter, model and television host confirmed to the world that he’s gay by posting a controversial music video on YouTube, titled The Father Project.

The black and white clip shows Tooji having sex with a priest in a church as the congregation watches on. Eventually, he and the naked priest sprout angel-like wings.

“My new video Father is out, and so am I!” exclaimed the performer proudly.

The Church of Norway does not appear to share the singer’s enthusiasm, slamming the music video.

“Regardless of the music video’s message or the artist, shooting intimate scenes in front of the altar is totally unacceptable and is a gross abuse of the church,” said the Bishop of Oslo in a statement.

The cleric insisted that his condemnation of the clip had nothing do with the kind of sexuality depicted and that “a similar scene between a man and a woman would be equally unacceptable.”

The bishop claimed that the use of the church in the Oslo district of Frogner had been approved based on a description of the video that was different from the filmed version.
