Ross Govender, a 31-year-old interior architect, has mysteriously disappeared in Johannesburg; the third member of the LGBT community to go missing in the city this month.
According to concerned friend and colleague Anthonie Bekker, Govender was last seen outside Babylon bar just before 12 in the morning on Friday night.
He’s believed to have then walked alone to his car in the parking lot at the Thrupps Centre in Illovo. He has not been heard from since.
Bekker told Mambaonline that Govender was not the type of person to willingly disappear in this manner. “He’s a very down to earth guy,” he said.
Ross is 1,8m tall, weighs 87kgs and was last seen wearing a blue denim shirt, a black t-shirt, black jeans and black trainers. He drives a light metallic blue Toyota Corolla, 1998 model, registration number XZM245GP.
